Radioactive Waste 804 - Russia Is Asking For International Help In Removing Radioactive Waste From The Kara Sea

     The Foreign Ministry of Russia is inviting international nuclear experts from other nations that border the Arctic Ocean to attend a conference in June of 2022 to discuss how best to recover the sunken radioactive and hazardous objects that were dumped by the Soviet Union on the floor of the Kara and Barents Seas east of Novaya Zemlya.

Who ever said all cats hate water? I've had some who love it! What about cats always landing on their feet? That's a dangerous myth to spread around, if you ask me. It might tempt kids to challenge it and really hurt a cat. Cat myths are way too plentiful, if you ask me, and some are downright silly.

Summer Graphic Novel Sagas

Oh, Saga. I won't give spoilers but as much as I want to re-read it this summer, I may have to pass. I don't think my heart can handle it. Brian K. Vaughan is even promising it will be "worth the wait," which makes me even more nervous about it returning "soon" after a three-year hiatus. Has it really been that long?

Online Summer Art Camps

Like many families, mine is still being cautious even as we finish, or have finished, our vaccine boosters. My teen loves art and while I'd love to find some great in-person camps, I am still wary and looking for some online options, too. I know I'm not alone when I say this pandemic really threw all of our teen rearing plans for a loop!
